I am a young retiree due to health issues.
I have worked in many fields including 3 years in the army & 25 years in Customs.
I married in 1985 and have 4 sons.
I founded The Australian Beard & Moustache Club.
What Bikes/Trikes do you own
I started on a Honda 350, then a 250 before buying a Yamaha 650 twin. I stopped riding in 1981 and started again in 2008 on a new Yamaha xs650A cruiser. I found it too painful to ride and sold it 2 years later. Then in the last 6 months I purchased a second hand Rewaco 'copy' trike. Much has been replaced and just after I bought it the forks broke. Starter motor is about to be replaced and hopefully that is the end of my major expenses for now.
What type of music do you like
I like old stuff, ballads, bush music and anything not to loud lol
Have you had a Bike/Trike accident that you want to tell us about
Sure, in 1981 I just got back from a trip to the US.
I got home and headed off on my Yamaha to meet a girl.
I almost made it but at the cnr of Bell & Sussex St Coburg I was hit. I had a bad feeling and rolled back a little. Saved my life as the car swerved as he came around the corner and hit me slightly head on. I flew across 2 lanes and hit the side of an ambulance. The Dr made things worse as seeing a compound fracture of the tibia fibia he pulled on the leg. However my hip had 'exploded' out the rear and all he did was pull the joint further down. I saw him the other day and he is no better a Dr than he was back then! With so many mates losing arms and legs I feel very lucky however as I type my back is killing me once more.
