Tell us about yourself
My greatest passions are riding (be it on four hooves or on two wheels) ,creating art, re-purposing objects for another use, reading good books, music of many kinds and cooking and eating FOOD.My hobbies are drawing;painting;sculpting;camping;campfire cooking (pack me a Dutch oven and I'll turn you out a five course meal!), BBQ/grilling; RenFest or any kind of ethnic/food/music festival or rallies are always a blast! I'm a 50 year old , divorced ,mother of 5 wonderful offspring,4 grown(3 in college) and a 12 year old son still at home.. I apprentice under my father learning to make custom saddles part time. I'm an advertising marketer/ columnist/ photgrapher for Thunder Roads Magazine Texas and I absolutely LOVE my jobs! My Mother , sisters and I put on family oriented horse playdays through our Southern Texas Playday Association. I have an ongoing love affair with living slow at home and taking my time-- except when I'm on a motorcycle in the country. Then I love speed! And curves!
What Bikes/Trikes do you own
Unfortunately my bike was a divorce casualty, LOL!
But as soon as I win the lottery I'm seriously considering a Ridley.
What type of music do you like
It would probably be quicker to list what I don't like, lol!
Love to watch a good musician play just about any Live Music, Blues, Jazz(especially New Orleans style),Rock &Roll,Classic MoTown, Cajun, Old Style Funk, Native American,Bagpipes, Folk, Bluegrass, Southern Rock,(Not too)Heavy Metal, Zydeco,Classic Rock, Red Dirt Metal or upbeat C&W (none of that cry in your beer crap PLEASE). I can even enjoy listening to the symphony on a blanket in the park with a picnic and some drinks. CAN'T STAND music with meaningless unintellageble lyrics ,ska, most rap or extreme (death) heavy metal. Stevie Ray Vaughan was beyond compare! Koko Taylor should be elected goddess of Blues! Thank you Pantera for inspiring me to nut up and WALK again~AND Kinky Freedman for Ag Commish of Texas!

Some artists (no where close to all) of the artists I like: Willie, Texas Hippie Coalition, Shake Russell, Aaron Neville, Waylon Jennings , Sugarland, ZZ Top, Pantera, Anne McCue, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, ManO War, Richard Thompson,Amon Amarth, Kieth Urban, Etta James, Koko Taylor, Canned Heat, Ted Nugent.....and on....and on....and on....LOL!
You asked!
Have you had a Bike/Trike accident that you want to tell us about
Had a couple.... a few with horses and on bikes......not my favorite subjects....tell you later ;-)

I was 21 and enjoying a long ride with no reason to head home.

I idled up to the old Filling station .

Saw the old man sitting,

with tobacco leaking
from his smile.
I said, "Nice evening isn't it?"
He said, "Nice bike. It's a Harley, right?"
I said,  "Sure is."
He stood up, cocked his hat a little
to the right

rubbed his eyes

and bowlegged
walked a full circle around
me and the Sporty.
He said that his name was Billy
but folks called him

the " the old man"
or "cowboy"

depending upon the
weather. "

Today they will go with Cowboy
I reckon.
We shook hands, like some old friends do.
He told me the fastest thing he ever
rode had four legs. and a mean
disposition before noon.
I asked if he wanted me to take
him for a short putt up the road.
"You won't buck me off the back?"
He spit out his chaw, smiled and
climbed on.  I brought up a few
revs to compensate for the
extra weight.
He is busy holding on to his hat.
"Who-o-o-e-e-e this thing is fast."
I never went much more than forty.
He told me there was a campsite
real nice at a nearby state lake.
I told him thanks, that he was
welcome to come by later.  I'd
make him a cup of campfire coffee
in a paper cup,

and pretended not
to notice the tears in his eyes.
It may have been the wind,
or perhaps,

it was the brief moment
of friendship between two traveled

I have had a ridley for three years, and I think you will love it. Route66 ridley motorcycles are the only dealer for them.check them out on Facebook, they are much less now then when being sold at Harley and other dealerships. Hope this is helpful information for you.
