Having no bike for a week , now that sucks big time, I know how you feel not getting riding time in, I have decided to hold back on trip until the 22 April as I need to replace a mechanical seal on my water pump before hitting road, the good news is I have booked 11 days leave -- so yes I am so looking forward of having endless riding time, and not having to bother looking at a watch or anything.
I look at some of the pic,s published and it makes me so jealous as you have some beautiful roads and national parks etc and miles of it, One day I will get my wish and ride from North to South USA. I myself ride daily at least 160km to work and back, but easy on a weekend I can hit 400km , we do have great roads and back areas that can be explored. At present I am in the market for another bike - dual purpose to suit the raods and bush of Africa, as my trip to Namibia is still on in July thats a good 4800 km in two weeks
Thanks for the note
Have a cold one for me , keep the ass in the seat and the rubber on the road
Your on Brother! Where and when? My daughter, Tina. and I rode our bikes in the furneral procession for Mean Gene. What talent. U can reach me on my cell; 281/507-3387, I also use my cell for work, so I'll answer, ADDVALUE Communications, I'm incogniyo :-0 I live by NASA Space Ctr, so I'm not far.
Gary, I'm thrilled to have these wonderful Brothers and Sisters worldwide. It would be grand indeed to hookup and catch a lot of wind. This cold weather in south Texas is not at all appreciated. Luv my electric vest....yes! I'm a wimp when it comes to cold weather! I wear snowboard pants cause my heavy-duty chaps just aren't enough! Heck! my feet haven't seen daylight in weeks..The sun is out, ut's Valentines Day, and as soon as wrap up some work, my scoot and I are curz'n. It's feels great to know I have you near.
Your pipes are indeed rad and so cool looking. I have the Sammson long fishtails into my headers. I found that I needed the 4" baffles in addition to the cones. Really helped with the torque and back pressure. Sounds throaty when at an idle at 900 rpm, with the "potato, potato" of the mild 20 over 30 Thunderbolt cam, but especially when I crack the throttle on her, (The Dixie Renegade).
All well on this side of the world, working my ass off on a difficult project, yet still finding time to ride daily , just waiting for the long weekend in March as I plan to hit the road and drive for three days non stop. Keep in touch
